Paving surfaces offer the most style and durability in available decking materials today. They are as practical as they are beautiful and available in a variety of shapes and colors.
With compression strength of over 8,000 pounds per square inch, pavers have many advantages over other materials. Porous surfaces, such as flagstone, concrete, and wood absorb large amounts of water and are prone to mildew. Pavers are extremely dense so they don’t absorb water and that keeps mold and mildew from growing.
Unlike all other fixed patio surfaces, pavers are a floating system that does not show structural damage. Consequently, they provide decades of lasting beauty while other surfaces show cracks, crumbling, and rotting over time.
Preparing the Surface Great finishes begin with a great foundation. And at Paver Connection, the true value of your system depends upon what you don’t see. We begin our installation by demolishing the existing surfaces and excavating the soil. The Paver Connection system consists of stones in various shapes, colors, and textures. You have the option of adding sealer which can give your pavers a more durable surface and add beauty. Everything is held in place with steel reinforced perimeter restraint buried below the surface. |
